Cherish Funeral Directors is an independently-owned and family-run business providing friends and family of the recently departed with dependable and personalised funeral services. We serve the whole of the Midlands, UK and many surrounding areas by offering a selection of budget-friendly packages that range from simplistic to traditional funeral and burial options.

Our customisable approach allows us to get to know you and your family as a part of the funeral planning process, which helps us provide the service your recently departed loved one would have wanted. We are capable of assisting with all aspects of funeral planning and are available 24-hours a day to offer support, guidance, or simply answer any questions regarding our funeral services.

'Cherished' is an excellent word to describe this Funeral Directors, as everyone who I met from this company were so compassionate and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them, especially Helen, who helped me through this very difficult time. On the day of the funeral everything went well, I couldn't have asked for anything more. There was standing room only in the crematorium, and every single mourner commented on the lovely 'order of service', which was outstanding, together with the lovely touch of the 'forget me nots'. Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful.

Can’t recommend Cherish (Swadlincote) highly enough. Both Tim and Helen were very attentive, caring and compassionate with good attention to detail and nothing being too much trouble. The funeral all flowed without a hitch and was exactly to plan. We’ve had several comments about how impressive the order of service are. Karen the Celebrant was also very caring, compassionate, empathetic and accommodating of our needs. Thank you to all at Cherish.
